A peculiar aspect of the Antique Roman Gods/Goddess, highly differentiating them from those deriving from Greek or Eastern traditions, is linked to the fact that they have no marriages, sons, scandals, adventures, friends, enemies.
In brief they haven't a mythology in the common and popular meaning and sense.
Main Gods and Goddess have a frequent and relevant role in human life and natural cycles: others however appear as presences in "time" being distributed along the traditional calendar (for this reason roman calendar shows a ritual and cultual value rather than a cronological and cronometric one). Other Gods/Goddess are more "spatial" being linked to some specific sites or certain kind of sites.
Nonetheless everyone hides or reveals a power in sè. They are great single powers or small groups of forces.
Anything having a character of "sacrality" is considered "normal" according to the roman tradition: for this reason, above all these small groups of forces, play a relevant role in roma n religion because they may be imprisoned into a "function", an act or even in a "fraction of an act".
