The name of this month derives from the fact to be the 7th month in the ancient calendar, beginning on March, of King Numa.
September is dedicated to Jupiter (Iuppiter means "God Father") representing the sacralization of Authority in particular social and public authority, like his female polarity Juno.
Jupiter thus represents the State and the Family as social institution. He represents, as cosmic energy, the sky, the rain, the snow, the lightning and the dew.
Sacred animals to Jupiter are the eagle and the vulture.
Sacred tree to Jupiter is the Oak: Jupiter may manifest himself through the whoosh of the oak's leaves
Jupiter has a long list of appellations (Indigitamenta) among which Lucetius (Light's Origin), Pluvius (raining), Fulgurator (Day Lightning) Summanus (Night Lightning), Pantocrator (Lord of anything), Trioculos (with three eyes), Prodigalis (prodigies Liberator), Penninus (Lord of peaks).
The main Jupiter's symbol is the Lightning

When you, entering a forest, perceive the beauty of the forest and you feel to be in a complete harmony with it, then, intuitively, you are in peace with the Deities. They are an essential part of our real nature, our Deep Nature, and when we are separated by our real nature we live in the fear. Perceiving such normality means giving a real sense to our lives.
Undertaking the Roman Via to the Deities implies a path to awakening: with the practice of continuing consciousness and awareness we undertake our walking knowing that taking the path is more important than the destination itself.
