Symbols

The Traditional Roman Religion is strictly linked to "symbols". Symbols are the springs of any thought. They allow a definition of the inner nature of the reality using, instead of rigid and simply verbal expressions, more complex and flexible relations.

A clear example of this value is given by Mars: in the Traditional Roman Religion this God is represented only by a lance provided with mana. In the Traditional Roman Religion. God/Goddess antropomorfical representations do not exist: the cultual Mars' imagine is a lance because this is the best Mars' representation (but a lance is not Mars!)

Any representation is an imprisonment but it is important, with sacred places, symbols and sacred elements, to sign the presence of these Invisibles (also to avoid to confuse an Invisible with another).
